Rick Owens builds clothing like architecture, and the Bauhaus Stooges is one of his most sculptural statements — a jumbo, oversized biker rendered sleeveless and cropped high above the hip. From the Spring/Summer 2025 "Hollywood" collection, it takes the house's moto vocabulary and blows it up in scale: an off-centre zip cutting a diagonal across the double-breasted front, a wide island collar, and the hard, deliberate posture that has defined Owens' outerwear for two decades. Cut in a substantial 70% recycled polyester / 30% cotton canvas with a full cotton lining, the piece holds its own architecture — structured enough to stand away from the body, matte and dry to the hand. The details are all functional: a cascade of zippered pockets across the front, snap epaulettes at the shoulder, and a removable pin-buckle belt that cinches the cropped hem. Made in Italy. This is a layering piece that refuses to disappear — worn open over a tee, buckled over a knit, or thrown across the shoulders as pure silhouette, it reads as sculpture from the collar down.
