From Rick Owens' Fall/Winter 2022 "Strobe" collection, the Quilted Griffin distills the designer's brutalist romance into a single hand-sized object. Cut from lightweight lambskin with a soft, peached handfeel and stitched in Owens' signature GEO quilt, it holds the tension the house is known for — severe architecture, sensual surface. A beveled magnetic flap keeps the line clean, while the long, thin strap detaches on palladium-toned hooks to convert the messenger into a clutch. Rendered here in a vibrant orange — a foil to the funereal black these pieces usually wear — it reads as deliberate provocation.Measurements
